Visit different of ethnic minorities such as: Khmu, Lanten, Tai Dam, Tai Deang, Tai Youn, to see & enjoy waterfall, stupa, temple, experience bamboo paper making, Laos Rice Whiskey making, traditional waving & participate Khmu traditional Baci-ceremony, sword dance, bamboo-slapping dance & flute performance, taste local meals & overnight at homestay, practice bamboo basket making “bamboo toys such as: birds, frogs, cup…” half day trek through Nam Ha NPA, learning technique for hunting animals, the second night stay in forest camp & discover countryside.

Day 1: Luang Namtha Valley-Nam Ha Homestay- Tourism Activities
Departure at 9:00 AM. Visit Luang Namtha Museum, Luang Namtha & Phoum Pouk Stupa, visit Tai Dam “Ban Nam Ngaen” the village who process of making the famous Lao Rice Whiskey, visit Tai Deang “Ban Pieng Ngam” the villages are famous for their many different handicrafts, picnic lunch on the trail. After lunch visit Lanten village “Ban Nam Lue”, next direct to Khmu village “Ban Nam Ha” the village of homestay, join tourism activities such as: looking or participate husking rice “by hand or foot”, Khmu traditional Baciceremony, sword dance, bamboo-slapping dance & flute performance, dinner with local food & stay overnight with family.

Day 2: Ban Nam Ha-Nam Ha NPA-Forest Camp. Approx. 4-5 hours
In the morning next day. While waiting for the breakfast visit groups of knife making, participate bamboo basket making “bamboo toys such as: birds, frogs, cup…” after breakfast start moderate trek through the Nam Ha NPA where the local guide’s knowledge of edible and medicinal plants will be demonstrated… You will be hiking uphill to see several massive old trees, many types of bamboo and divers forest plants. If you travel quietly you may see some wild animals such as: monkeys, wild goats and wild pigs. The traditional picnic lunch will preparing by local guide. After lunch continue walk along the Nam Ha River to the forest camp we should arrive around 4:30 pm and overnight alongside the Nam Ha River. Besides resting, you are free to go fishing for dinner with your Khmu guide or stroll around the camp or opt for a refreshing swim in the Nam Ha River alongside your camp.

Day 3: Forest Camp-Ban Nalan-Ban Chaluernsouk. Approx. 4-5 hours
In the early morning you are likely to hear many kinds of animals communicating such as: bear, monkey, barking dear, gibbon, wild pigs and jungle fowl from the higher mountain tops or if you are especially fortunate you may see them moving through the forest. Before breakfast, early risers are free to take a walk around the camp. After breakfast prepared by our guide, you cross the Nam Ha River and walk through field visit Ban Nalan explore the Khmu culture, next hike uphill through forest. Lunch will be prepared in the traditional way along the forest path. The guides can boil water and make soup in bamboo cooking vessels. They will encourage you to take part in the preparation of the meal, showing you how to construct simple spoons and chopsticks from bamboo and leaves. They will also brew a medicinal tea from wild plants collected along the way. After lunch, you will have an easy two hour hike down the mountain slope until you arrive at the Ban Chalernsouk, where your driver will be waiting to transport you back to Luang Namtha town.
