2 Days Discovery the Khmu Country & Luang Namtha Off-Road
Trip Overview:
Adventure four-wheel drives tour visit different of ethnic minority groups along the bank of Nam Tha River such as: Lanten, Tai Dam, Khmu and Tai Lue, experience countryside, great view of mountain, Off-road from Nalae town-Vieng Phoukha, hidden of Kao Rao Cave and riding through Nam Ha National Protected Area.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Luang Namtha-Nalae Town (Home of Khmu). Approx. 80 Km
Start from the office at 9:00 AM visit Lanten, Khmu and Tai Dam villages which located along the Nam Tha River, along the way in your right side is Nam Ha National Protected Area. You will arrival Nalae Town around 16:00 and direct to the Ban Om the Tai Lue homestay or other option stay in the local guest house. While waiting for the dinner walk to visit local people or swimming in the Nam Tha River.
Day 2: Nalae Town-Vieng Phoukha-Luang Namtha. Approx. 165 Km
The Nalae morning market is the one popular attraction in the town. After breakfast continue up to the mountain visit the Khmu villages, they are still keep their culture and traditional, on the road you will explore excellent landscape, great view of the mountains, riding through Nam Ha National Protected Area. The traditional lunch will eat on the way. After lunch riding visit Vieng Phoukha Town, hidden of Kao Rao Cave, participate tourism activities in Ban Nam Ha “Khmu village” as making bamboo toys and the final back to Luang Namtha.
