1 Day Trek-Jungle Forest, Hidden Waterfall & Hill Tribe Discovery

Real Nature explore, Nam Ha National Protected Area-an ASEAN Heritage Site (Nam Ha NPA), hidden waterfall, excellent landscape, trek through old growth forest, primary bamboo & wild banana forest, birds sightseeing, discovery different ethnic minority groups such as: Akha, Yao and Tai Lue villages.

ITINERARY. Approx. 4-5 hours
Departure from our office by Tuk Tuk to the head north along direct via Luang Namtha around 20 minutes. Next, the trail leads you ascend and descend the mountain of Nam Ha National Protected Area, it’s passes through the old growth, primary bamboo and wild banana forests to visit hidden waterfall, on the mountain summit you would see many level views of Nam Ha NPA and learn about them. While you are trekking along the trail you will see many different species of birds and birds calling by a trained experience guide and birds will supply them, your guide will teach you how to make the bird call, barking dear and squirrel sounds. Your picnic lunch will be served around the waterfall. After lunch the trip continues through the pristine forest to visit Ban Nam Daet Mai (Akha Village), and learn about their lifestyles (What do they do in daily? How about their way of life? Their traditions and culture etc…), visit Ban Nam Mai (Yao or Mien village), it’s a symbol end trek a Tuk Tuk waits here to pick and transfers back to Muang Sing town.

Pricing:
The price ranges from US$31/Person for 8 + Pax to US$115/Person for 1 Pax.

The price varies according to the number of participants. The price decreases as more tourists book the same trek!

Note: the price above non-include transportation if you start the trek from Luang Namtha. If you would like to start the tour from Luang Namtha, you will pay more for minivan 60-100 US$.

  • Do not remove any archeological remains from the site of the ancient temples.
