2 Days Car/4WD Tour in Golden Triangle “Laos-Myanmar-China Border”

Trip Overview
This tour available only in dry season will bring you in a very remote area new open to tourism. You will see real traditional village where you will walk around and meet the people, the guide will explain you about Akha, Tai Lue and Kui ethnics history, tradition, culture. Stay overnight in the Akha Homestay. Moreover, you will have the best view of Long town and Muang Sing valley, Mekong River, Myanmar and an unforgettable sunset from one of the higher mountain of the region.

Day 1: Muang Sing- Golden Triangle-Akha Homestay. Approx. 165 Km
The tour starts at 8:00 AM from the office on the way short stop on the mountain to see excellent landscape and stunning view and continue to visit ethnic minority groups as Akha village. After lunch driving up to the GOLDEN TRIANGLE AREA (Laos-Myanmar-China) that you will see Akha, Tai Lue Villages call Xieng Khaeng Region and Mekong River. Option 1 you can stay overnight in the Tai Lue village nearly the Mekong River or other option driving back to stay overnight in the Akha homestay of Ban Jakhamlue. While waiting dinner walk around the village to see Akha daily lifestyle. After dinner you will enjoy Akha massage.

Day 2: Akha Homestay-Long Town-Muang Sing. Approx. 170 Km
In the early morning you will see Akha or Tai Lue daily working as you choose overnight. After breakfast driving on the mountain with excellent landscape of GOLDEN TRIANGLE visit Akha in different villages, they are still keep their culture and traditional. After lunch driving down to Long town short stop to visit fresh market and continue to Muang Sing on the ways stop visit ethnic minorities as Akha, Lanten, Tai Lue and Tai Nuea and back to your hotel around 4-5 PM.
